Our History

TMC began operations in 1994 as an international project management and logistics support company with offices in New Mexico, Virginia, and throughout such difficult areas as the Former Soviet Union. Since our founding, we have continued to provide direct support to major U.S. Government agencies and multi-national and Fortune 100 corporations as they dismantle Cold War nuclear, chemical and biological weapons systems; clean up environmental hazards such as the nuclear reactor site at Chernobyl; and detect, prevent and respond to such threatening diseases as Avian and Swine Influenzas, Brucellosis and Plague. By sponsoring international conferences and providing alternative employment for former Soviet weapons scientists, we help create a stable economic environment for the countries where we operate.

Over the past decade, we have grown to become a diversified, employee-owned professional services company. We now employ nearly 300 people worldwide, working in fully-registered offices in ten countries as well as the U.S. We have conducted business in more than 70 countries overall.

We do not rely on expatriates to perform our overseas work. Instead, our business model combines planning and oversight by U.S.-based operations staff members, certified as Project Management Professionals, with program execution by professionally-qualified local national staff members working out of our overseas offices. This approach ensures full understanding and compliance with U.S., international and local standards and regulations; provides a thorough understanding of the unique political, economic, legal, regulatory and social conditions prevailing in each country where we operate; and guarantees our clients tailored and responsive solutions at an extremely attractive blended labor rate.
