The decisions taken by foreign governments – and by our own – can directly affect business and commerce. It is therefore essential that executives understand government policy, particularly when they are operating in the unfamiliar legal, political and regulatory environments of foreign countries.
Our management and senior staff are highly experienced in understanding, shaping and executing public policy. Several of us are former career military and intelligence officers with ample experience in foreign affairs and the inter-agency process. Others rose to senior positions in such major government organizations as the Department of Energy. Still others were senior members of the Congressional staff.
